Responsibilities
- Analyze complex commercial insurance risks using advanced data modeling and market trends
- Design and price bespoke insurance solutions for multinational corporations
- Lead negotiations with brokers and clients to structure optimal coverage terms
- Mentor junior underwriters and develop team risk assessment frameworks
- Collaborate with actuarial teams to refine underwriting algorithms
- Ensure compliance with APAC regulatory requirements and industry best practices
- Identify emerging risks and propose innovative product enhancements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field (advanced degree preferred)
- 7+ years of commercial underwriting experience with property/casualty focus
- Proven expertise in APAC insurance markets and regulatory landscapes
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in risk assessment software (e.g., RMS, Applied)
- CPCU, AU, or ARM professional certification required
- Exceptional negotiation and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience leading underwriting teams or mentorship programs
- Fluency in English with Mandarin proficiency highly valued
