Responsibilities
- Analyze complex insurance applications using advanced data modeling tools
- Develop risk assessment frameworks for commercial and specialty lines
- Collaborate with actuaries and claims specialists to optimize coverage structures
- Maintain compliance with evolving regulatory requirements (NY DFS, NAIC)
- Mentor junior underwriters and lead cross-functional project teams

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management, or related field
- 7+ years of commercial insurance underwriting experience
- Proven expertise in property/casualty or specialty lines
- Advanced certification (CPCU, ARM, or CERA) preferred
- Proficiency in insurance software (Guidewire, Duck Creek)
- Strong analytical skills with data interpretation experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
