Responsibilities
- Evaluate complex insurance applications and risk exposures using advanced analytics
- Develop innovative underwriting strategies for commercial property/casualty portfolios
- Collaborate with brokers and clients to design bespoke insurance solutions
- Maintain compliance with regulatory frameworks and industry best practices
- Mentor junior underwriters and contribute to process optimization initiatives
- Lead market research to identify emerging risks and opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management, or related field
- 5+ years of commercial underwriting experience with P&C focus
- ACII or CII Chartered Insurance Institute certification preferred
- Proficiency in underwriting software (e.g., Duck Creek, Guidewire)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience in APAC insurance markets
- Excellent negotiation and client management abilities
