Responsibilities
- Underwrite complex commercial property insurance policies with $10M+ liability exposure
- Analyze risk assessments and financial statements to determine coverage terms
- Develop pricing strategies using advanced actuarial modeling tools
- Collaborate with brokers and clients to design tailored risk solutions
- Maintain compliance with state/federal insurance regulations
- Mentor junior underwriters and optimize team workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management, or related field
- 7+ years commercial property underwriting experience
- ARM, CPCU, or CERA professional certification preferred
- Expertise in property valuation and catastrophe modeling
- Advanced proficiency in Duck Creek or Guidewire systems
- Proven track record of profitable portfolio management
