Responsibilities
- Lead complex risk evaluations for commercial and personal insurance portfolios
- Develop and implement underwriting policies aligned with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with actuaries to refine pricing models and risk mitigation strategies
- Build relationships with brokers and clients to expand market presence
- Mentor underwriting teams and drive continuous process improvements
- Analyze market trends to identify emerging opportunities and threats
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive underwriting experience with P&C or commercial lines
- Professional designation (CPCU, AU, or ARM) strongly preferred
- Expertise in risk assessment tools and insurance regulatory frameworks
- Proven track record in portfolio management and loss ratio optimization
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making ability
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities
