Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced risk assessment frameworks for property/casualty insurance portfolios
- Analyze complex datasets to identify emerging trends and potential exposures
- Develop pricing strategies using predictive modeling and statistical analysis
- Partner with underwriting teams to refine risk selection criteria
- Ensure adherence to state/federal insurance regulations and compliance standards
- Present risk insights to senior leadership through executive dashboards
- Mentor junior analysts and foster a culture of continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, Statistics, or related field
- 5+ years of insurance risk analysis or underwriting experience
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python/R, and data visualization tools
- CAS/SOA designation or equivalent professional certification preferred
- Deep understanding of insurance product lines and risk modeling principles
- Experience with regulatory reporting (NAIC, RBC, etc.)
- Strong business acumen with strategic thinking capabilities
