Responsibilities
- Analyze complex risk portfolios using advanced statistical modeling and predictive analytics
- Design and implement underwriting guidelines for property/casualty products
- Lead cross-functional projects to optimize claims processing workflows
- Develop pricing strategies for commercial insurance products
- Regulatory compliance monitoring for state and federal insurance laws
- Mentor junior analysts while maintaining high-quality deliverables
- Present findings to executive stakeholders with actionable recommendations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or Finance (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of property/casualty insurance experience
- Valid ASA or ACAS designation with progress toward Fellowship
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, and R programming
- Deep knowledge of insurance regulatory frameworks (NAIC, IRMI)
- Experience with actuarial software (AXIS, Prophet)
- Strong business acumen and stakeholder management skills
- Proven track record in risk modeling and pricing strategy
