Responsibilities
- Develop and implement advanced predictive models for commercial insurance risk assessment using machine learning algorithms
- Analyze emerging global risks (cyber threats, climate volatility, regulatory changes) to inform underwriting strategies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate risk insights into actionable policy recommendations
- Validate actuarial assumptions through quantitative analysis and market trend evaluation
- Maintain compliance with Solvency II, GDPR, and evolving insurance regulatory frameworks
- Mentor junior analysts while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
- Present risk mitigation strategies to executive stakeholders and board committees
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Data Science, Finance, or related quantitative field
- 5+ years of progressive experience in commercial insurance risk assessment
- Advanced proficiency in R, Python, or SAS with portfolio modeling experience
- Certified FRM or CERA designation strongly preferred
- Proven track record in developing predictive models for insurance portfolios
- Deep understanding of insurance accounting principles (IFRS 17) and capital modeling
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with regulatory reporting frameworks in European insurance markets
