Responsibilities
- Analyze complex insurance portfolios using advanced statistical modeling and machine learning algorithms
- Develop predictive risk assessment frameworks for commercial and specialty lines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design innovative insurance products
- Ensure compliance with state and federal insurance regulations (NAIC, state DOI)
- Present risk insights to senior leadership through data visualizations and executive reports
- Mentor junior analysts and lead risk management initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in insurance underwriting or risk analysis
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, R, or Python for data manipulation
- Professional designations (ASA, ACAS, CPCU, or ARM) preferred
- Deep understanding of insurance products and regulatory landscapes
- Exceptional analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
