Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced predictive models for catastrophic event risk assessment using Python, R, and SAS
- Analyze complex insurance portfolios to identify emerging risks and recommend strategic coverage adjustments
- Lead cross-functional projects to enhance pricing algorithms and loss reserve methodologies
- Present risk mitigation strategies to C-level executives and board committees
- Maintain compliance with NAIC regulations and industry best practices
- Mentor junior analysts and drive continuous improvement in risk modeling frameworks
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in insurance risk analysis with P&C specialization
- Advanced degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Data Science, or Finance
- Professional designations (FCAS, ASA, or ARM) strongly preferred
- Expertise in catastrophe modeling software (AIR, RMS, or Touchstone)
- Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, Scikit-learn), and data visualization tools
- Demonstrated success in transforming complex data into executive-level recommendations
- Strong understanding of insurance regulations and reinsurance structures
