Responsibilities
- Threat Detection & Response: Lead the investigation and remediation of security incidents using SIEM and EDR tools, minimizing downtime and data exposure.
- Penetration Testing: Conduct comprehensive internal and external penetration tests to identify weaknesses in our systems before malicious actors do.
- Architecture Design: Design, implement, and maintain Zero Trust network architectures and secure cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to industry standards such as GDPR, ISO 27001, and NIST frameworks, managing audit requirements.
- Vulnerability Management: Oversee the vulnerability scanning process and coordinate patch management across all corporate assets.
- Security Awareness: Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on security best practices and phishing mitigation.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CEH, or Security+ certification is required.
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in information security, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior engineering role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python or Bash scripting for automation and custom tool development.
- Tools: Deep knowledge of Splunk, FireEye, Palo Alto Networks, and Azure Sentinel.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
