Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex healthcare data models and dashboards using SQL, Python, and visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive business intelligence initiatives.
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of patient data, strictly adhering to HIPAA compliance regulations.
- Conduct in-depth statistical analysis to uncover trends, anomalies, and opportunities for operational improvement within clinical workflows.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders through clear, compelling visual reports and presentations.
- Lead the data migration process for new electronic health record (EHR) integrations.
- Optimize data pipelines to ensure real-time reporting capabilities for hospital administrators.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Biostatistics, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the healthcare or biotechnology sector.
- Expert proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Redshift) and experience with ETL processes.
- Strong programming skills in Python or R for data manipulation and machine learning modeling.
- Deep understanding of healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR) and regulatory frameworks (HIPAA, GDPR).
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for translating technical data into business value.
