Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines to support clinical research and operational reporting.
- Collaborate directly with healthcare providers and IT stakeholders to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and data requirements.
- Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA, HITECH, and other regulatory compliance standards for all patient data.
- Visualize complex datasets using Tableau or PowerBI to create intuitive dashboards for executive leadership.
- Conduct advanced statistical analysis and predictive modeling to forecast patient volume trends and resource allocation needs.
- Document data architecture and processes to ensure system integrity and data lineage transparency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably within the healthcare or medical technology sector.
- Expert proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and programming languages such as Python or R.
- Strong understanding of healthcare terminologies (e.g., ICD-10, CPT, HL7) and data governance frameworks.
- Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, AWS Redshift).
