Responsibilities
- Design and implement responsive, user-centric web applications using React, Node.js, and modern JavaScript frameworks
- Lead API development and integration with third-party services using RESTful and GraphQL architectures
- Optimize application performance through advanced caching strategies, database indexing, and front-end optimization
- Mentor junior developers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical documentation
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes for seamless deployments
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate design mockups into pixel-perfect implementations
- Contribute to open-source projects and stay current with emerging web technologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack web development with strong JavaScript expertise
- Proficiency in React, Node.js, Express, and modern ES6+ features
- Experience with relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) database systems
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization technologies
- Strong understanding of web security best practices and performance optimization
- Portfolio demonstrating complex, production-ready web applications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
