Responsibilities
- Architecture & Design: Design and implement scalable, high-performance microservices and RESTful APIs using modern best practices.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code while conducting rigorous code reviews for junior and senior engineers alike.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with product managers and designers to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications.
- Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations to ensure 99.99% uptime and sub-100ms response times.
- Mentorship: Guide the engineering team through technical challenges and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong track record of delivering complex projects.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in TypeScript, React, Node.js, and AWS (or GCP/Azure).
- Database: Deep understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB).
- DevOps: Familiarity with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab).
- Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to troubleshoot complex issues and make architectural trade-offs under pressure.
