Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs and microservices using Node.js and Python.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Optimize database performance and ensure high availability of our cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes to reduce time-to-market.
- Identify technical debt and refactor legacy codebases to improve system resilience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
- Expert proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React, and TypeScript.
- Strong experience with backend frameworks such as Node.js, Express, or Django.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
