Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle from concept to commercial launch, including formulation, sensory testing, and scale-up.
- Ensure strict compliance with FDA regulations, HACCP plans, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Analyze ingredient functionality and nutritional profiles to optimize product performance and shelf-life.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Supply Chain, and Quality Assurance, to align technical specifications with business goals.
- Conduct sensory evaluation sessions and interpret data to drive product improvements and innovation.
- Manage laboratory operations, including equipment maintenance, safety protocols, and inventory of raw materials.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in R&D within the Food & Beverage industry.
- Proven track record of successfully launching new food products to market.
- Deep understanding of food safety regulations, labeling laws, and allergen management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in food science software and data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders.
