Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-native banking systems processing 10M+ transactions daily
- Lead architectural transformations for real-time payment processing and settlement platforms
- Ensure GDPR/CCPA compliance while optimizing data analytics pipelines for risk modeling
- Develop disaster recovery solutions achieving 99.999% uptime for critical financial operations
- Mentor cross-functional teams on fintech best practices and emerging regulatory requirements
- Architect API gateways integrating legacy banking systems with modern digital channels
- Conduct quarterly security audits and implement SOC 2 Type II controls
Qualifications
- 8+ years in financial systems architecture with banking/FinTech specialization
- Expertise in distributed ledger technology and blockchain for settlement systems
- Proven track record designing high-throughput payment processing solutions
- Advanced certifications in AWS/Azure and banking-specific frameworks (ISO 20022)
- Deep understanding of Basel III/IV capital adequacy frameworks
- Experience leading M&A integrations for financial technology platforms
- Mastery of Python/Java with microservices architecture in Kubernetes environments
- Strong background in AML/KYC regulatory technology implementation
