What you will do:
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to assess market risk, credit risk, and operational risk.
- Perform deep-dive analysis on large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for cost reduction.
- Generate high-level reports and dashboards for executive stakeholders using SQL, Python, and Tableau.
- Ensure all financial data reporting adheres to strict regulatory standards, including FCA and Basel III compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Treasury, Compliance, and Product) to refine financial strategies.
- Automate manual reporting processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Professional qualification such as CFA, ACCA, or CA (Chartered Accountant) is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, specifically within the banking or fintech sector.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/NumPy), and BI tools (Tableau/PowerBI).
- Strong understanding of financial markets, derivatives, and risk management frameworks.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present complex data to non-technical audiences.
