Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to forecast market trends and assess credit risk.
- Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, providing actionable insights to the executive board.
- Collaborate with treasury and risk management teams to optimize capital allocation.
- Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.
- Ensure strict adherence to FCA regulations and internal auditing standards.
- Present data-driven recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and persuasive manner.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis or a related banking sector role.
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and advanced Excel functions.
- CFA, ACA, or equivalent professional qualification is highly desirable.
- Excellent understanding of banking products, regulatory frameworks, and risk assessment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial metrics.
