Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to forecast market trends and assess credit risk.
- Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple internal and external sources using SQL, Python, and advanced Excel.
- Prepare high-level reports and presentations for the Executive Board and Regulatory Committees.
- Identify anomalies and trends in financial data to support regulatory compliance (e.g., FCA, Basel III).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Treasury, Compliance, and Operations to streamline financial processes.
- Automate reporting dashboards to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field (Master’s degree is a strong plus).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, risk management, or data analytics within the banking sector.
- Proficiency in SQL (advanced querying), Python (Pandas, NumPy), and visualization tools (Tableau or PowerBI).
- Strong understanding of banking regulations, financial reporting standards, and risk management frameworks.
- Exceptional analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
