You will work directly with the CFO to influence business strategy through data-backed financial stewardship.
Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Direct financial reporting, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasting.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
- Manage external audit processes and serve as the primary point of contact for tax compliance.
- Mentor and lead the accounting department, fostering a culture of professional growth and high performance.
- Develop and automate financial workflows to improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with department heads to manage departmental budgets and variances.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA certification required.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a corporate setting.
- Deep expertise in GAAP and financial statement preparation.
- Proven track record of managing complex financial systems and ERP implementations (NetSuite, Sage, or SAP).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling software.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a history of developing high-performing accounting teams.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to communicate financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
