Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end/quarter-end closing processes and financial reporting compliance
- Lead internal controls implementation and SOX 404 audit readiness
- Develop and optimize financial models for strategic decision-making
- Manage tax planning and compliance across multi-state operations
- Mentor junior accounting staff and drive process automation initiatives
- Collaborate with executive team on M&A due diligence and integration
Qualifications
- CPA certification with 8+ years progressive accounting experience
- Expertise in GAAP, IFRS, and SEC reporting requirements
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and BI tools
- Proven track record in financial controls and risk management
- Master's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Experience in fintech or high-growth startup environments
