Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end/year-end close processes and financial reporting for 15+ portfolio companies
- Develop and maintain SOX-compliant internal controls and audit procedures
- Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles aligning with investor relations requirements
- Manage treasury operations including cash flow optimization and banking relationships
- Drive process automation using ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)
- Present financial analyses to executive leadership and investment committees
- Mentor junior accounting staff and foster continuous improvement culture
Qualifications
- CPA certification with 7+ years in public accounting and corporate finance
- Expertise in SEC reporting and GAAP compliance for private equity funds
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling (DCF, LBO, M&A) and Excel/Power BI
- Experience with NetSuite, BlackLine, or similar financial automation platforms
- Proven track record leading cross-functional financial transformations
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication skills with executive stakeholders
