Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end/year-end close processes and financial reporting for 15+ client portfolios
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure SOX compliance and risk mitigation
- Lead financial forecasting and budgeting initiatives aligned with client growth objectives
- Manage team of 4 accountants through performance reviews and skill development
- Present complex financial analyses to C-suite executives and board members
- Optimize accounting workflows using NetSuite and Power BI integration
- Drive process improvements reducing reporting timelines by 20%+
Qualifications
- CPA certification with 7+ years in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and multi-state tax regulations
- Advanced proficiency in NetSuite, QuickBooks Online, and Power BI
- Proven track record leading financial transformations in scaling businesses
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex data for non-financial stakeholders
- Experience managing remote teams and hybrid work environments
- Certification in financial modeling or data analytics preferred
