Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Oversee all accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger operations.
- Drive improvements in financial systems, automation, and internal control frameworks.
- Manage external audit relationships and tax compliance requirements at the state and federal levels.
- Prepare detailed financial statements, budget variances, and cash flow forecasts for executive leadership.
- Ensure full adherence to regulatory requirements and GAAP standards.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing team of staff accountants and finance associates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or public audit.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or SAP) and Excel modeling.
- Deep knowledge of US GAAP and SOX compliance procedures.
- Proven track record of streamlining financial workflows and implementing process improvements.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
- Strong analytical mindset and uncompromising attention to detail.
