Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee all accounting operations, including A/P, A/R, GL, and revenue recognition.
- Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage the annual audit process and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors and tax advisors.
- Develop and implement robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
- Lead the budget preparation process and perform variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Mentor and develop the junior accounting team, fostering a culture of excellence and professional growth.
- Drive process automation and software integrations to improve departmental efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is highly preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or controller-level capacity.
- In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and corporate tax compliance.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or Sage Intacct) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into executive-level strategy.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and lead teams through organizational change.
- Impeccable ethical standards and attention to detail.
