Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes for diverse client portfolios
- Lead financial statement preparation and analysis under GAAP and IFRS standards
- Manage internal controls implementation and SOX compliance initiatives
- Develop and maintain financial forecasting models for strategic planning
- Serve as primary liaison for external auditors and regulatory bodies
- Mentor junior accounting staff and optimize departmental workflows
- Implement automation solutions for financial reporting processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA/CPA preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and SEC reporting requirements
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and Excel modeling
- Demonstrated experience managing SOX compliance and internal audits
- Strong leadership skills with ability to mentor high-performing teams
- CPA certification required
