This is a pivotal role for a professional who thrives on process improvement, rigorous compliance, and data-driven decision-making. You will lead our finance team through complex audits, financial planning, and operational scaling initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee all accounting operations, including General Ledger, AP/AR, and Payroll.
- Coordinate the preparation of internal and external financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes to ensure absolute accuracy.
- Manage corporate tax compliance and coordinate with external audit partners.
- Develop and implement robust internal controls to mitigate financial risk.
- Partner with the CFO to perform variance analysis and develop annual budget projections.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing team of junior accountants and analysts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification is highly preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a mid-sized corporate environment.
- Proven expertise in GAAP compliance and technical accounting research.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP) and high-level Excel modeling.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a meticulous eye for detail and data integrity.
- Strong leadership abilities with a history of fostering cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle tight reporting deadlines.
