Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust financial systems ensuring GAAP compliance and SOX adherence
- Lead month-end/quarter-end closing processes with 3-day turnaround targets
- Direct budget forecasting and variance analysis for $50M+ revenue streams
- Spearhead internal control audits and process optimization initiatives
- Manage cross-functional financial reporting for executive stakeholders and board members
- Mentor accounting team through performance reviews and skill development programs
- Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies during compliance reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA or MBA required
- 8+ years progressive accounting experience with 3+ in leadership
- Expertise in financial systems (NetSuite, Oracle) and ERP implementation
- Demonstrated success in scaling accounting operations for high-growth companies
- Advanced proficiency in Excel modeling and financial analysis tools
- Strong understanding of multi-state tax compliance and international accounting standards
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex data for non-financial audiences
