Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations including month-end close processes and financial reporting
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis initiatives
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations
- Collaborate with executive team to provide strategic financial insights and recommendations
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions
- Lead financial audits and ensure timely completion of deliverables
- Mentor and develop accounting staff through professional growth opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA required)
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience with 3+ in a leadership role
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical skills with experience in financial modeling and forecasting
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and teams
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex financial data clearly
