Responsibilities
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes for US entities
- Manage financial reporting and analysis for executive stakeholders
- Oversee internal controls implementation and SOX compliance
- Direct budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis initiatives
- Spearhead process improvements in financial operations
- Mentor junior accounting staff and cross-functional teams
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax authorities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA required)
- 8+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite/SAP) and Excel modeling
- Strong leadership experience managing accounting teams of 5+
- Experience with multinational consolidation and intercompany accounting
- Proven track record in process optimization and automation
