Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end/year-end closing processes and financial reporting
- Lead SOX compliance initiatives and internal control frameworks
- Develop and maintain robust financial models for forecasting and analysis
- Manage cross-functional budgeting and strategic planning cycles
- Drive process improvements in accounting operations and ERP systems
- Act as primary liaison for external audits and regulatory inquiries
- Mentor senior accounting staff and foster team development
Qualifications
- CPA certification with 8+ years in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expert proficiency in GAAP/IFRS and SEC reporting requirements
- Advanced Excel skills with Power Query/PivotTable mastery
- Experience with Oracle NetSuite or equivalent ERP systems
- Demonstrated leadership in high-growth fintech or financial services
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making ability
- Excellent communication skills for executive stakeholder engagement
