Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end accounting operations including GL maintenance, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes with strict adherence to GAAP/IFRS standards
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure SOX compliance and risk mitigation
- Partner with executive team to drive strategic financial planning and budgeting initiatives
- Manage and develop a team of 5+ accounting professionals through mentorship and performance optimization
- Automate financial workflows using ERP systems and process improvement methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA or MBA required
- 8+ years progressive accounting experience with 3+ in a controller role
- Expertise in complex month-end close and consolidation processes
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and financial analytics tools
- Demonstrated experience leading SOX compliance initiatives and internal audits
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate financial insights for stakeholders
- Proven track record of process optimization and team leadership in fast-paced environments
