Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end/year-end closing processes with zero tolerance for errors
- Lead financial reporting initiatives for executive stakeholders
- Develop and implement internal controls to prevent fraud
- Manage tax compliance across multi-state operations
- Mentor junior accounting staff through performance reviews
- Optimize accounting software workflows for efficiency
- Collaborate with audit teams during external reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance (CPA required)
- 7+ years progressive accounting experience
- Expertise in GAAP/IFRS compliance
- Advanced proficiency in SAP and QuickBooks
- Proven leadership managing teams of 4+
- Experience with SOX 404 compliance
- Strong analytical modeling skills
- Big 4 public accounting background preferred
