Apex Global Solutions is seeking a Senior Financial Controller to join our executive finance team in the heart of Manhattan. You will play a pivotal role in driving our financial excellence, overseeing core accounting operations, and providing the high-level insights required to scale our global operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the accounting department while overseeing daily operational finance functions.
- Direct the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
- Drive the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
- Manage external audit processes and ensure full compliance with regulatory reporting requirements.
- Develop and implement robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and improve reporting accuracy.
- Partner with the CFO to execute strategic financial initiatives and process improvements.
- Analyze complex financial data to provide actionable insights for executive leadership decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or financial management.
- Expert-level proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, or similar) and advanced Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Deep understanding of US GAAP, internal controls, and corporate taxation.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate technical data into strategic business strategy.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
