Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee all accounting operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.
- Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage the annual budgeting and forecasting process, providing variance analysis to stakeholders.
- Ensure robust internal controls are maintained to safeguard corporate assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals for year-end audits and tax filings.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase operational efficiency and data accuracy.
- Support strategic decision-making through complex financial modeling and performance tracking.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or MBA is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
- In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and corporate tax regulations.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate financial data into clear business strategy.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to partner effectively with cross-functional departments.
- Proven track record of building and mentoring high-performing accounting teams.
