Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including A/P, A/R, and GL reconciliation.
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements in compliance with US GAAP.
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory filings and corporate tax returns.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes and audit activities.
- Develop and implement robust internal controls to ensure data integrity and asset protection.
- Provide strategic insights to executive leadership regarding cash flow management and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; MBA or Master's in Accounting preferred.
- Current CPA license (Certified Public Accountant) is mandatory.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial management.
- Expert-level proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle) and advanced Excel.
- In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and local/federal tax regulations.
- Proven ability to lead high-performing teams and mentor junior staff members.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
