You will serve as a key business partner to the CFO, driving operational excellence and data-driven decision-making in the heart of Manhattan.
Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process with precision and efficiency.
- Oversee all accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance.
- Develop and implement robust internal controls to ensure financial integrity and regulatory compliance.
- Manage external audit engagements and tax filings in collaboration with third-party advisors.
- Drive financial modeling and forecasting to provide actionable insights for senior leadership.
- Supervise and mentor the accounting department, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and growth.
- Prepare comprehensive management reports and board-level presentations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA certification strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
- Expert-level proficiency in GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting standards.
- Advanced experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or Sage Intacct) and high-level Excel modeling.
- Proven track record of streamlining financial processes and improving operational efficiency.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- High integrity and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
