Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Lead financial strategy development and execution for $500M+ portfolio
- Manage team of 5+ accounting professionals with mentorship focus
- Implement and optimize internal controls to ensure SOX compliance
- Drive process improvements using automation tools like BlackLine
- Partner with investment teams on portfolio valuation and risk analysis
- Present financial insights to C-suite and board members
Qualifications
- CPA certification with 8+ years progressive accounting experience
- Master's degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
- Expertise in SEC reporting and GAAP standards
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and Excel modeling
- Proven leadership managing high-performing finance teams
- Experience in private equity or alternative investments
- Strong analytical skills with strategic mindset
