Responsibilities
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes with precision
- Lead financial reporting including GAAP-compliant statements and SEC filings
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure compliance
- Analyze financial data and provide strategic insights to executive leadership
- Coordinate external audits and manage tax compliance
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA/MBA preferred
- 7+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel modeling
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience managing audits and tax compliance
- Proven leadership in cross-functional financial initiatives
