Responsibilities
- Oversee all month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
- Lead financial risk assessment and mitigation strategies for global portfolio worth £2B+
- Manage and optimize treasury operations, cash flow forecasting, and working capital management
- Drive continuous improvement in financial controls and SOX compliance frameworks
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing and implementing financial systems upgrades
- Present complex financial insights to C-suite executives and board members
- Mentor junior finance professionals and develop departmental succession plans
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with 8+ years in finance leadership roles
- Proven experience in multinational financial reporting (IFRS/US GAAP)
- Expertise in financial modeling, variance analysis, and KPI reporting
- Advanced proficiency in SAP S/4HANA and Power BI
- Strong regulatory compliance background (SOX, FCA, HMRC)
- Strategic thinker with experience in M&A transaction support
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex data
- Master's degree in Finance/Accounting or MBA preferred
