Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes with strict adherence to deadlines
- Lead financial reporting initiatives including consolidated statements, variance analysis, and executive dashboards
- Manage internal controls implementation and SOX compliance testing
- Coordinate external audits and ensure seamless communication with auditors
- Develop and optimize accounting systems, including ERP integration and process automation
- Mentor junior accounting staff and provide guidance on complex financial matters
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic financial planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA required
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience with 3+ in a leadership role
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
- Proven track record of process optimization and automation initiatives
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present to executive leadership
