You will lead our finance team in New York, ensuring compliance, optimizing internal controls, and spearheading initiatives that support our long-term expansion goals.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end accounting cycle, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
- Prepare comprehensive financial statements and management reports for senior stakeholders.
- Design and implement robust internal control frameworks to mitigate financial risk.
- Oversee cash flow forecasting, treasury functions, and banking relationships.
- Direct the annual budgeting and re-forecasting process in collaboration with department leads.
- Ensure full compliance with GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing team of staff accountants and analysts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA highly preferred).
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a management capacity.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or Sage Intacct) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong technical knowledge of GAAP and financial regulatory compliance.
- Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and translate it into actionable business strategy.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of managing and coaching cross-functional teams.
