Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Direct the preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
- Oversee tax compliance, regulatory reporting, and internal audit functions.
- Develop and mentor a team of junior accountants and financial analysts.
- Partner with the CFO to manage annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning.
- Implement and streamline automated accounting systems to improve operational efficiency.
- Provide insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and business growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a mid-to-large corporate environment.
- Deep understanding of US GAAP, financial statement preparation, and general ledger accounting.
- Proven track record of leading high-performance teams and driving process improvements.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle) and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ethical, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
