Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Develop and implement robust internal controls and SOX compliance frameworks
- Lead financial reporting initiatives including board-level presentations and investor communications
- Drive continuous improvement in accounting processes through automation and system optimization
- Manage cross-functional relationships with FP&A, Treasury, and Audit teams
- Mentor accounting staff and foster a culture of financial excellence
- Lead special projects including system implementations and process re-engineering
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA/MBA required
- 8+ years in public accounting and corporate finance with Big 4 experience preferred
- Expertise in GAAP/IFRS and SOX compliance frameworks
- Advanced proficiency in SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft Dynamics
- Proven track record in managing high-volume accounting operations
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong leadership abilities with experience managing teams of 5+
- Experience in financial services or multinational corporations
