Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, reconciliations, and journal entries
- Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and SEC regulations
- Develop and implement financial controls and risk management frameworks
- Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits
- Analyze financial performance metrics and provide actionable insights to leadership
- Manage treasury operations including cash flow forecasting and banking relationships
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA/MBA preferred
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience in financial services
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
- Advanced proficiency in financial software (SAP, Oracle) and Excel
- Experience managing SOX compliance and internal controls
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Proven leadership experience directing accounting teams
