Responsibilities
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls to ensure SOX compliance
- Oversee financial reporting packages for executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
- Optimize accounting systems and implement process automation initiatives
- Coordinate external audits and tax compliance activities
- Mentor junior accounting staff and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA required)
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience with 3+ in controller role
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and BI tools
- Strong analytical skills with experience in process optimization
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder presentations
- Proven track record in managing cross-functional finance teams
- Experience in investment/financial services industry preferred
