Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end/year-end closing processes and financial statement preparation
- Lead external audit coordination and ensure SOX compliance
- Manage accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger operations
- Develop and implement internal controls for financial systems
- Analyze financial data and provide strategic insights to executive leadership
- Mentor and develop a team of 3-5 accounting professionals
- Drive process automation initiatives in financial reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA preferred)
- CPA or CMA certification required
- 7+ years progressive accounting experience in public accounting or finance
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Strong leadership experience managing accounting teams
- Experience with multinational corporate tax compliance
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
