Responsibilities
- Oversee all month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
- Develop and implement financial controls to ensure regulatory compliance
- Lead budget forecasting and variance analysis for executive leadership
- Manage external audit relationships and ensure SOX compliance
- Optimize financial reporting systems and processes
- Mentor and develop junior accounting staff
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic financial planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expertise in GAAP and international financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (Oracle NetSuite, SAP)
- Proven leadership experience managing accounting teams
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with SOX compliance and internal controls
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
